An early goal by Florence Awde, at 1:07 of the overtime period, lifted the St. Thomas University Tommies (4-4-0=8pts, 5th position) to a 2-1 win over Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (2-7-1=5pts, 7th position) Saturday evening at the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena in Atlantic University Sport women's hockey action.

Mariah Carey, at 11:28 for the visitors and Maëlle Rioux (Emilie Lalancette), 2 minutes later for the Blue and Gold, had scored goals in the third period following two scoreless periods. With a 1-1 score at the end of regulation time, all hopes were present with both teams.
