Tommies Add Corinne Williams to 2025 Rugby Roster
Fredericton, NB — The St. Thomas University Tommies women’s rugby team is excited to announce the commitment of Corinne Williams, coming from Saint John, New Brunswick, to the 2025 roster.
Williams brings experience, athleticism, and a strong competitive spirit to the Tommies lineup. A standout player for Saint John High School and Spruce Rugby, Williams has excelled as both a forward and center, demonstrating strength in the contact zone and confidence with the ball in hand.
Williams is eager to bring what she describes as “fun energy” to the Tommies program, contributing both on and off the field.
“I chose STU because of the tight-knit community and the amazing coaching staff,” Williams said. “I love the coaches and their uplifting positivity. They’ve built a culture where players can grow and feel supported.”
In addition to rugby, Williams is a multi-sport athlete, also competing in field hockey and basketball. Off the field, she will pursue her academic interests in Psychology, with plans to make the most of both the athletic and academic opportunities at St. Thomas.
