Tommies Welcome Centre Back Chloe Caldwell
Drawn to STU by its welcoming community and peaceful campus atmosphere, Caldwell is eager to immerse herself in both academics and athletics. She will be pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Criminal Justice, with a passion for learning fostered by the university’s small class sizes and engaging environment.
“I chose STU because of its welcoming atmosphere, and I was truly impressed by the campus,” said Caldwell. “I also love the small class sizes and the calm, quiet environment that fosters a great learning experience for me.”
Caldwell brings a well-rounded athletic profile to the Tommies. In addition to soccer, she has competed in varsity basketball and handball.
When asked about joining the STU Women’s Soccer Program, Caldwell shared high praise for the team culture and coaching staff.
“I believe STU's Women's Soccer Program has strong values and has been incredibly successful in elevating the sport to the next level,” she said. “Meeting the coaching staff and players gave me a great sense of their close-knit bond and the supportive, welcoming, and positive environment they create. I’m so excited to be a part of such an amazing program this coming fall!”
"Chloe is a strong, physical defender who thrives in one-on-one battles, loves a tackle, and brings real presence at the back — fearless in the challenge and composed enough to win it cleanly and keep possession under pressure." - Head Coach David Itoafa.
The Tommies are thrilled to welcome Chloe to the Green and Gold and look forward to seeing her on the pitch this season.
